Happy Place by Emily Henry

The book is super relatable and explores all kinds of relationships — friendships, romantic relationships, and even family dynamics. I love the character of Harriet because I can really relate to how she handles her problems. I understand her struggles when it comes to opening up, whether it’s to her friends or even to her partner. I also appreciated how her character evolves into a better version of herself and becomes more aware of her shortcomings.

It may seem like a light read based on the book’s cover, but it actually dives deep into heavier themes—like her struggles with her dreams, her own happiness, and her desire to make the people around her proud, especially her parents. Because honestly, who doesn’t want that? I believe a big part of us sees ourselves in Harriett’s character.
