I set out to read this book mostly because I was curious. I had seen it all over social media and went into it with only a rudimentary understanding of what it could be. instead I was faced with something incredibly gripping, emotional and thought provoking. The the concept of identity and community immersed in an incredibly uncertain yet dystopian world is both compelling, heart-wrenching and thought-provoking. 10 out of 10 will recommend to everyone.
I will say that this might not be everyone's cup of tea however I will recommend that you at least give it a try.
