Okay this book made me feel so many emotions! Where do I even begin? Confusion, anger, intrigue, swooning, happiness, annoyance, just basically EVERYTHING.
Okay just putting this out there, Antonio is MINE! Okay? Okay. Now onto the review. What can I say? I really got swoon over Antonio. You will see what I mean when you read the book. 😏 He had experienced a lot and had many bad experiences with women as far as I could tell. He didn’t deserve all that with his ex-wife.
Divya hmm she made me so mad at times! Like yes, I could understand where she is coming from especially when she didn’t know that her hubby was part of certain organization. Her getting mad about it, totally natural reaction. But her listening to his bad and horrible mother, instead of clearing the air with Antonio made me just mad. Honestly, perhaps I was too far gone for Antonio at that point, that I just wanted him all for myself. 😏 That aside my heart honestly broke for Antonio, yet I understand why Divya struggled with her feelings and felt so conflicted. Her whole world was turned upside down, even before meeting Antonio.
And oh my, cutie Cora. I just cannot! The way Divya and Cora bonded was beyond cute. And the moments between Cora and Antonio were super sweet too.
Without spoiling anything, I just loved this book. It really made me FEEL things and definitely is worth reading. If you love mafia romance, forced marriage and morally grey daddy Antonio (hands off, he is MINE) then this book is perfect for you! I loved the writing and storytelling even if I was pissed at Divya. Oh and the grief as a topic was beautifully written here. And the happy ending made my heart squeeze.
I really loved it and I am excited to read the book two next. 😏🥰
