Razzmatazz by Christopher Moore
4.5

Another winking nod to the noir genre set right after the war, the big one, WWII, in San Francisco when some Rosie the Riverters found out they liked their co-workers more than the men they sent off to war.  The morality police step in and somehow Moore spins a tale about lesbians in post-war San Francisco, Chinese immigration to Northern California and the tongs that followed and murder most foul.  I liked it.
