This was my beach read book, every time I was near a body of water for a long period of time this is what I was reading and I took me forever to get through. I found the ending quite lacklustre, it wasn’t big enough to make the rest of the book feel worth reading. We were in Eileen’s head for so long I wanted the ending to feel more monumental than it did, it just kind of fizzled.
