The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson
4.0
This was a good continuation of the Mistborn trilogy. The pacing was a little more consistent compared to the first book. There were some elements of mystery that were introduced that kept the story engaging even as Sanderson continued to set up a bunch of the larger story elements. I loved the world-building and the action sequences.
The character of Zane felt a little pointless to me - I'd expected there to be more to his story by the end but pretty much everything that Sanderson revealed in this book was all there was to him. I'm not sure he really added much to the story overall.
