I read the Warrior cat series growing up. The Prophecy Begins, The New Prophecy, The Power of Three, and several of the super editions introduced me to the Warrior universe and I remember loving the characters and stories. A long time has passed since then and I am once again diving back into the world of wild cat clans, reading both old and new books in chronological order. This is book one in that journey and I was not disappointed. It was good, a new story with familiar writing and scenery, but new characters to love. The pacing of the story was quick, almost rushed, but having read Erin Hunter's work before it was expected. I enjoyed the read and I look forward to the next book in line.
