This book bothered me. I expected a nuanced discussion of introversion and what makes us/them the way we/they are, complete with scientific data validating her points. Instead, I got an over-simplified self-help book. I don't enjoy self-help books.
The author breaks the world into the two distinctive camps of Extroverts and Introverts when the world just isn't that binary. I am very much an ambivert though my Myers-Brigg puts me just a hair over the E line. I relate a lot to the traits of introverts and felt like I was being maligned for having extrovert traits as well.
You'll love this one if you're looking for some validation.
