Oooh this was such a fun smutty read. Exactly the kind of smutty I enjoy.

To start off, I absolutely loved the transmasc rep. A trans guy wanting to get pregnant? I literally haven't seen that in a book before. And I loved how Ethan was secure in his masculinity and was portrayed as such, while still trying to achieve something that is typically regarded as feminine. I do not know if I ever want to carry a child, but this book made it feel like that it was a valid option to want for. Which was very nice

The tension through the book was really fun. You saw both Ethan and Peter struggle with their adoration for the selkie and the tension it caused. But I loved how they both communicated well on it and made sure not to cross the boundary of the other. A very nice healthy relationship which I always enjoy seeing. Then when the selkie started to be a part of the two of them even more, it was great to see that the boundaries were communicated both ways with him well too.

Then for the sexy bits, they were very sexy and very good. It has PIV sex, so if that's a trigger for you as a trans person, or if you're uncomfortable with that, it might be good to take that into consideration. I loved how the smutty bit were steamy, sexy and especially full of love. That always warms my heart.

It's a short sexy read that was perfect for reading while I was cuddling with my partner.
