Quo Vadis by Henryk Sienkiewicz
3.5
This was book was different than I expected, the atmosphere and settings were great and the characterization of the players amazing but in the end it turned into christian propaganda that was annoying to get through.
The writing style was nice and made the story go fast and the intrigue and relationships of the characters well done. The Roman traditions and customs on their everyday life were very interesting and I wished there was more focus on that.
But the last third of the book felt just like reading a homily and it bored me a lot.
