While this book is not perfect (and if it were, I’m not sure I’d be able to tell), it’s an excellent primer on core issues that gives some actionable starting points.

Some of the information isn’t quite correct, or sounds better than it truly is (ex: Loaves & Fishes housing site in Austin only has a few 3D printed houses as of May 2024 when I toured their site, and the book makes it sound like there are tons), but it’s a start.

I’ll admit to feeling hesitant about the book because of the author’s org name- I’ve felt so hesitant to trust anything with a strong religious sounding name, and I would challenge to say it’s not at all a miracle when it’s hard work being done by humans, but again - it’s a start, and I’m not here to throw a potential ally out with the bath water.
