Don’t Hex and Drive, by Juliette Cross

When Devraj (vampire Bollywood star and elite warrior) rolls into town…and subsequently directly into Isadora (a healing witch with a green thumb), summer in New Orleans gets hot and steamy. Can they work together and hunt down rogue supernaturals kidnapping coeds, or will their attraction to each other take front seat?

Book two in the Stay a Spell series did not disappoint! This tale is spicier than its predecessor, but in a way that felt true to the main characters. Juliette Cross gives Iz and Dev their own voice, while maintaining the style and familiarity of the paranormal romance already established in the series. This style impressively includes characters with standards, characters loving their sexuality unapologetically, and female leads in their 30s.
