This is absolutely one of the best books I have read in a while. It is clever and emotional, and also empathetic. Although there are some people in this book who are just not great, the majority are treated as humans, with the good and the flaws included. It also emphasizes found family in a very touching way. And I know I will be saying in my life whenever I have a quandary, “what would Elizabeth Zott do?”
