The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
3.0
So I'm a bit torn on this one.
Was it a good story? Yes
Was it unique? Yes
Was it easy to read? Yes
But I wasn't super amazed by it. It's not that I knew what was going to happen, but I didn't not know if that makes sense? Many people talked about how intricate and confusing the book was but I honestly didnt get that at all. I felt it was very easy to follow.
I also just let myself go along for the ride and didn't try to figure anything out. Even so, I kept feeling the pieces fall into place and I wasn't overly surprised by anything.
Again, I didn't 'solve' it but I also wasnt surprised by it.
