arturo sucked so bad and was insufferable the whole time but it was still a good read so that’s impressive. read for a modern us history course im facilitating w a small group of student. arturo is hypocritical, his morals are flimsy, he is misogynistic and racist despite himself sitting on the line of white but second class citizen as an italian american from an immigrant household. enjoyed the ending.
