This series is cute and worth checking out. I have to give a higher rating to the first book over this one (it was really good). The first one contained a great sleuth type mystery...this book leans heavily on a valentines-love is in the air-get people to fall in love theme with very little sleuthing or mystery. I think for the age group it is just a bit too mushy gushy for my tastes. That being said the romance was tame and the ending was appropriate. We will definitely be on the look out for more in this series - but we will have our fingers crossed for a more pre-nancy drew feel then this had.
