a timely look at how big tech impacts our world, and how we are incapable of controlling them. this book's suggestion? people close to their ceos who still prioritise humans over profits.

the plot was simple to follow and had no complex threads, and i had seen the twist coming a mile away.

what i find more interesting is the discussions on the hunter-gatherer/farmer archetypes using the bible, and also the analogies for machine learning. the core takewaway for me was how the archetypes are perpetually in conflict with each other, and how the current predominant rabbit archetype has impacted our world and society at large. definitely worth a deep dive into with the authors alderman credits at the end.

overall an optimistic take on how big tech's power can be curbed and used for good.
