I started this book right after the second one and I'm just shocked again at what happened. The storyline itself was very short and compact but still remains interesting. It was very exciting to see how Percy reacts to his environment and his quest partners and the ending was amazing. This is the first time that a book in this series is not set in the camp during the summer, but rather during the winter, which was definitely super exciting and I'm very intrigued to read more!
The death of Bianca and Zoe was heartbreaking and I still can’t believe they are dead especially Bianca. Little Nico’s reaction was so sad and the reveal that he is the son of hades was crazy. Also the love story between Percy and Annabeth is developing even more, even Aphrodite is shipping them, hahaha. Luke seems to slowly get lost and maybe regret?! And poor Thalia only one book alive and became a hunter for Artemis, so she doesn’t fulfill the prophecy and had to kick Luke her first love of the cliff….
