The Woman They Could Not Silence: The Timeless Story of an Outspoken Woman and the Men Who Tried to Make Her Disappear by Kate Moore

5.0

Phenomenal. Infuriating. Kate Moore does it again. She crafts history in a way that is so compelling it feels like a story and Elizabeth Packard is an extremely engaging protagonist. I didn’t know her name before but it’s good that we are getting her name out there now. I hope more people read this and we talk about this more.
I think it was good I had read Unwell Women a few months ago and I think it helped me understand a lot of the background of men claiming women are insane.
