Do Nothing: How to Break Away from Overworking, Overdoing, and Underliving by Celeste Headlee

5.0

This book was absolutely meant for someone like me. I totally recognize it’s not for everyone, as it speaks more to the working culture in North America.. It tackles workaholism and relying on emails and computers to do a job. Not everyone needs or deals with these tasks in their day-to-day job, but a lot of people do.

I got extremely burnt out from my prior job and this book helped me realize I made unhealthy choices for my career for far too long. It validated a lot for me including the sacrifices I have recently made in order to live a happier and healthier life. It’s great if you’re a freelance business owner, an employee or a boss.. There’s a lot to take away from this book. It resonated a lot with me! Highly recommend!
