i thought this short story collection was really well done. i’ve read this author’s memoir and thought it really profound. the same sense of disassociation, genre bending, and inexplicable horror exists within these stories. the only one i really didn’t jive with was Especially Heinous, but the rest were poignant and beautifully written. women deserve better
