Cruel War by Dani René

5.0

Ares and Dahlia are a match made in hell.
They are forced together through carefully constructed secrets and lies, making them enemies from the start.
Ares is angry at Dahlia due to her families participation in something that wronged his family in a terrible way.
But as we dig in deeper to this cruel secret society, falsities are uncovered, paving the way for something even better than their hate.
When they decide it’s love, everything gets so much better.

I love the twists and turns, the pushing and pulling, the grittier side of things, and Cruel War definitely delivers.
