The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor
4.0

I loved this book, the scenery, the mystery of it all.
It was entertaining to read and that’s what it got 4 stars for, however it was sort of cliche, i mean Wrigley was a bad guy from the very beginning and it was obvious, no one tried to hide it, but i guess i wasn’t expecting for it to be THAT obvious. I think the whole thing with his adoptive mother was horrifying and i loved it. However Flo really annoyed me at times because i swear even when i was 15 i would’ve told my mom who shot at me as soon as it has happened. She frustrated me so much.
I didn’t expect Jack to be Merry, it was an awesome plot twist, i’m still unsure how to feel about her brother, that was creepy as hell.
Overall, great book, however the beginning was just too messy with all these random reverends that were never actually important to the plot.
