So I actually read this a while back, but it's been a while and I looked and saw that the sequel has been released! So here's my review of the original book.
I really love reading it, the inclusion of dark academia and magic really pertains to my interests. I hadn't really gotten into dark academia-type books before, and this one really sold the genre to me . I love the different relationship dynamics, and being able to see how the different characters got along with each other. I also like the basic setting of the Alexandrian society as a whole. Like I said, I read this a while back so I don't truly remember everything, but I'm probably going to go ahead and skip it before I move on to the next book :)
