Lucky in Love by Kasie West

In typical Kasie West fashion, this book is cuuuuuuuuuute.

I really liked the concept of this one, because... I mean, what do you do when you win the lottery? I liked how Maddie tried to be responsible about it, because she's a very plan-oriented brainiac much like myself. But I think it's heartbreakingly realistic how everyone, even her own family, tries to take advantage of her. I mean, when you have $30 million (or know someone who has that much money), it's easy to lose perspective.

Seth was adorable, and I liked the romance, though there wasn't that much focus placed on it.

Ultimately, this is my least favorite Kasie West book till now - but that's just because the bar with all the others is set so incredibly, unimaginably high. This one was a bit more predictably dramatic than the rest, and because the romance wasn't the focus, it was a bit less feelsy. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it was an absolute breeze to read and very entertaining.
