The Trauma Cleaner: One Woman's Extraordinary Life in the Business of Death, Decay, and Disaster by Sarah Krasnostein

5.0

WOW. Before I say anything, I have to note that this book IS NOT for everyone. Trigger warnings for....basically everything you can think of. This is one of the most compelling stories I’ve ever read. This is a biography that reads like fiction because of how insane the stories and horrifying the life of this woman was. I understand that many people think Sandra is an awful person, but at the end of the day....we are all flawed and make mistakes. I don’t agree with a lot of what Sandra did. Another complaint I’ve seen is that the book is all over the place, which.... yeah...Sandra is unreliable in her retelling of her life because of what she endured. Trauma does that to a person. I listened to the audiobook along with the physical copy and it was amazing. Highly recommend the audiobook.
