Note to myself: dont let the hype get to you.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news and the one that pops the baloon of the hype created around this one. I wanted it to be great. I expected to be blown away.
The beginning was confusing. Both in writing and plotwise. Later the stoy picked up, and it was solid. I did love the atmosphere, but the characters were totally bland. They made you felt sorry for them at times but thats about it. None of them acted age appropriate.
And the ending was "now that too", vibe for me. It felt like just a bit of trying too much in every direction.
