Thank goodness this one was so much better than the last two. Luce wasn't nearly as awful. She still made some dumb decisions but I didn't hate her the whole time. The one thing I can't figure out is why Callie is even a character in any of these books. It seems so pointless. Maybe in this final book she has some secret or purposeful meaning? Also, this is just a guess, but I've been thinking Luce was maybe some sort of angel or another type of mortal thing. I keep thinking that secret will come out in each book, but it's not. So I guess maybe I'm wrong, but that would have been a cool twist.
