2.5 ⭐️ There was so much hype surrounding this book and once again it was disappointing. I found Emilia foolish and impulsive in the worst ways and disliked her character very much. She is mainly fueled by vengeance which makes her judgement so cloudy and even though she grew up knowing how awful the demons are, she trusts the worst one throughout the entire book who later betrays her in end, which was not very surprising. The book was slow paced and it felt the plot was dragging in the middle and end. I really didn’t care half of the time.
