It took me so long to find this series and now I'm completely hooked on Anna and Charles, the audiobook was a great way to meet this couple and I liked the feeling for the author that the novella gave me, so decided to continue with Cry Wolf in audio.
I think the prequel was a great way to start this series and after reading this book and a couple of other reviews, I don't think the story has the same feeling when you get this couple already together without knowing everything Anna has been through.
I liked that Anna is able to work with Charles in those extreme cases like in this book. She's a great woman, and to be able to help others is amazing when you think Charles was almost always needed to destroy other wolves. I liked the way they are trying to make things work, even after all the drama Anna suffered in her previous pack, she's great and Charles being older helped too, because he knows about the trauma and doesn't push things too far.
Will definitely continue this series.
