The Boston Girl by Anita Diamant

This book was an easy, quick read. It was written as if it was a legacy interview between the narrator and her granddaughter. While it was entertaining and fascinating to read about a woman's life through the 1900's, I found that the story itself lacked depth. When I can read about a death of a relative from the flu epidemic and not tear-up, I'm not connected to the characters in the novel. This is a book that I read quickly and will also forget quickly.
