Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes Are High, Second Edition by Ron McMillan, Kerry Patterson, Al Switzler, Joseph Grenny

3.0

Things I liked:
Recognizing when a conversation turns to silence or violence
Making others feel safe
Start with the heart - what do you really want end result? For you? For the other person?
We tell ourselves stories. The other person has no clue about them. We are reacting to our own story. Stick to the facts.
Consideration given that we won’t be perfect at these skills, but trying is the best place to start.

What I didn’t like:
Nothing really. I’d recommend this book to others.
