Archangel's Kiss
by Nalini Singh
Once again I want to thank character development for existing. After reading the first two chapters, I wasn't sure if I would ever love Raphael, but now I can say I LOVE him.
This book was even better than the first one for me. Now that we know this world and characters, the stakes feel higher and we are able to have a much deeper plot, which I appreciate.
I was kind of upset in the first book because I felt like the fell for each other a bit too fast. This book gave me what I was missing tho. We get to see Raphael and Elena share their secrets, learn the stories and get to know the person they fell for.
One thing I LOVED about this book is that even tho Elena didn't know anything about the angel world and was super weak after her accident, not once did Raphael see her as weak or underestimate her. And when others would hint at that he would be like "her mistake is thinking my Elena can't hold her own".
I really look forward to reading the next books!
