Everything/Nothing/Someone: A Memoir by Alice Carrière

emotional reflective

3.5

found this to be a very interesting memoir. her life and style of writing was fascinating. i do wish there was an element of reflection regarding how much privilege she had growing up as there were multiple times i thought to myself how unlikely these resources were for the majority of the population. not that she didn’t deserve those resources, everyone does, just wanted some acknowledgment in that area.

also, in a weird way her voice really reminded me of listening to jenette mccurdy’s memoir.
