Real Queer America: Lgbt Stories from Red States
by Samantha Allen
emotional
hopeful
inspiring
reflective
medium-paced
This is not a bad book, I was just not the target audience. As someone who grew up in rural Idaho, I felt like Allen wasn’t saying anything new. This was geared towards people who have lived their lives in big cities and are not familiar with rural America. I understand how this book would appeal to a lot of people but wasn’t for me personally in the end.
