They must have known I was a big fan of Holly when she was on the E! reality show The Girls Next Door as Hef's main girlfriend. She seemed classy, and I liked her classic fashion style, and now I think she's proven that she's smart, talented, and has a good work ethic. Sadly, Hef used to keep her from her potential (she reveals that he was controlling and jealous); and she says they never once had a meaningful conversation.

She's accomplished so much since she's gotten out from under him. This memoir shows her slow metamorphosis from a meek, submissive girlfriend to a woman in charge of her own destiny; but is mainly about her time at the mansion--7 years! The other girls (before Bridget and Kendra, her reality co-stars) were mean to her, so she stayed by Hef's side. It was only for the reality series that he started to allow her to pursue some creative outlets. I loved it!
