A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham

4.0

I'm impressed this is a debut novel! I really enjoyed this one. The writing immediately drew me in and I had a hard time putting it down. The story had me suspicious of all of the characters and left me second guessing myself as much as Chloe did. Speaking of Chloe, our pill popping main character, for being a smart psychologist she spent so much of the book being SO DUMB. I wanted to scream at her on more than one occasion for repeating bad decisions, but overall I enjoyed her journey to uncover the truth. Fans of slow burn mysteries will definitely like this one. I look forward to reading more from Willingham in the future!
