The relationship between severine and Bruno was so gross, and it felt as if I should think it was fine because she wanted it. There was a clear imabalance power dynamic because she ACTED LIKE A TEEN and he was a full grown man. The characters other than Severine did not feel fleshed out and the story dragged at times. Severine was an awful person but that made it fun to read honestly. Had to stop because of the gross relationship
