The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

4.0

Beautiful written; Erin Morgenstern's writing heightens your senses, captivating you into the story.

The plot line mainly focuses on the two main characters; Cecil and Marco are the illusionists who are a part of the circus. They are stuck in a game (magical) created by Celia's father and Marco's master (teacher/foster father). Which they have been at feud with each other for a long time. Cecil and Marco challenge each other throughout this game while resisting their feelings for each other. As you turn a new chapter in this book, you'll find that it will shift into the other characters POVs and their journeys as a part of the 'Le Cirque des RĂ©ves' (The Circus of Dreams). Which this adds unexpected twists and turns. I'm not a huge fan of multiple POVs (more than two), I find it can be a bit difficult for me to get into the story. But, I loved the way Erin Morgenstern has written out in it The Night Circus
