Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell

4.0

Six subtly interconnected stories, each with its own style and voice, make up this marvelous novel. It moves forward in time through each of the stories and then back again to the beginning. Mitchell does an amazing job at keeping the stories very different from one another while at the same time making the book feel like a cohesive whole. I picked this up in preparation for a reading group (that I did not end up attending).
