His & Hers by Alice Feeney

4.0

I did enjoy the way that the story was told for the most part, flipping between the perspective of BBC reporter Anna Andrews and detective Jack Harper. I'm always a fan of anything set in a quiet English village and the unfolding of childhood events. The distrust between characters made for an engaging read throughout. Not to give too much away but the ending was off for me. It seemed as though unnecessary details & misaligned reasoning was thrown in and was not needed for an already interesting read. That being said I did enjoy Alice Feeney's writing style & I would like to read more by this author!
