While this Valente book is not my favorite of hers (that would be the Past is Red which was in my top reads of last year) I do think this book is a pretty incredible feat because there's a joke in practically every line and the absurdist tone of the whole book never ceases. The number of jokes and wild tangents got very overwhelming, and often confusing for me, personally.  But, there's a few ppl in my life (my wife included) that need to read this book because it is 100% their shit and I can recognize that everything in here is absolutely intentionally done for a certain brand of reader and nerd. Game recognized, Valente!!
