Mad Girl by Bryony Gordon
5.0
A very brave and truthful account of Bryonys OCD. Not a 'poor me' story. Bryony makes it clear through the book that she had many opportunities given to her. Mental illness affects rich, poor, men, women, young and old. It did make me question if her parents had equipped her with some life skills. I think children do need to be taught resilience, relaxation techniques and the ability to 'let it go'. I sometimes think that we have become so obsessed about being PC that those with sensitive personalities over analyse everything.
