Murders and Mysteries of the Manitoulin District by Willis John McQuarrie

3.0

The content of the book is great - interesting to learn about the history of Manitoulin Island. What made this difficult to read for me were grammer errors, misspellings, and override overuse of specific phrases ("dastardly deeds" appears many times).

But the really cool thing is the map included on the back, which points out some of the locations talked about in the book.

Overall I think it's a good thing the author put in the time to record the stories, as I'm sure a lot of them would have gone untold otherwise.
