This was so toxic and I loved it! I put this duet off for so long because it’s the last thing I have left to read from this author, and she’s one of my faves. I knew I’d loved it and CE Ricci never disappoints me. 

River and Rain have such a toxic relationship, but their connection is so deep and genuine you can’t help but fall in love with them. And fall in love with them I did! The angst in this one is SO strong, my stress levels were through the roof😂 but I know it’s going to make their reunion all that much sweeter! Hard earned HEA’s are the best and these two have really been through it—it couldn’t be more deserved🫶🏼

I do think trigger warnings should have been included at the beginning of the book due to the detailed content on certain things in this story. Definitely check out the TW’s before going into this.
