Now this is my first Tessa Bailey book and I wasn’t sure what to expect, i did read this book super fast and enjoyed aspects but it felt like the main plot was just tropes and

the mentioning of Jude and Dante were touched on but then there was NO development, and I’d have enjoyed to see more of that

and then when it came to the whole murder mystery aspect of the book, it just wasn’t developed at all?? Like it just fell so flat for me.

Also there were some points of the book that was just ick

like him STEALING her pants and she is cool with that and then wears them at a later date for him??? WHAT!!! Oh and if that wasn’t enough he looks at her ARSEHOLE and thinks CUTE?!? AGAIN WHAT!!!

Fair enough I did rate this 2.25 stars and there were some good aspects of it, like one reason is I didn’t actually guess the murderer but also that’s because there was NO indication or clues or anything pointing towards it: but I guess the smut was ok
