An entertaining read once I got past my initial dislike of the protagonist. I gave up reading the book for a few weeks and read other books and comics before giving the book a second chance. I’m glad that I did. 

Rory is traumatised and deeply hurt and angry. So incredibly angry as the narrative progresses and you discover how deep the hurt goes and how much she was let down by her mother as a child.
there is an incident of CSA/exposure when Rory was a kid.


I did enjoy reading the transformation sequences and Rory’s battle with her own anger and rage as well as the wolf’s bloodlust.
