Phew that was exhausting..
I did enjoy the story BUT a very big fat BUT these are my issues,
1. literally all of the male characters in this book is no gentleman at all, you will find many scenes of women being abused by man, I am not a hardcore feminist but the author really pictured women below men, that women can do nothing but keep their husband full and content in bed.
2. All of the drama caused by Alice was super annoying and tiring.
3. Both hero and heroine described as this clever people and yet they were so whipped they become fools.
4. The ending was meh.
Nevertheless there are some sweet moments between the couple that I enjoyed.
When she injured her leg and he did this,
"Close your eyes," he said, and when she obeyed, he showered her with flowers. "You can't go to them, so they must come to you."
not interested to read the other brothers' stories, can't stand another abusive/toxic relationship.
