The Fault in Our Stars
by John Green
A great young adult book. The characters feel like real, witty, videogame-loving teenagers who are having to deal with their impending death. It shows how different people react to that reality in a way that goes beyond the stereotypes and encourages the reader to grasp what happiness is available to them.
