I LOVED this book. The plot stayed quick and the world kept getting bigger & more complex.
The character work in this one was extra special to me. A story is only as strong as the characters supporting it and this one did not disappoint. Our supporting cast really came into their own & our dragons were cracking me up the entire time.
I firmly believe thatthe scene where violet is getting tortured and Liam is there to support her is one of the most poignant points in the series thus far.
The only reason this one is not a 5 is because thexaden/violet conflict felt very repetitive and it annoyed me.
I am VERY excited to see what happens next, especially with the crazy cliff hangers and huge information bombs we received at the end. January cannot come soon enough!
